Sorry first time mummy here. My 9 day old makes a very loud clicking sound with his tongue every now and then. Anybody know why?!

Is it when he's due a feed?

kittymama93 · 27/10/2017 03:14

It's something they tend to do to look for food...so he's just kind of "sucking" when there's nothing to suck. Nothing to worry about.

Yeah this is how my lad tells me he wants food. I get the clicking then I have approx 45 seconds to get food into his mouth before he turns hangry. It's a really good indicator. :)

I think it could be when he’s hungry it’s just so loud sometimes I think it can’t have come from him haha

It's so cute. But I think anything my baby does is cute. The praise I give him when he accomplishes a fart is comical.

Haha yes I even praise a poop! Never thought I’d see the day!!
