A boy in dd1's class came round yesterday with an invitation to his party. He held it out whilst turning away and muttering "invitation ... party ... hope you can come ..." whilst dd1 took it, head turned away, muttering "...thanks ..."
Then the boy immediately said "er, I've gotta go now" and shot off!!
I rang the mum later to RSVP and she said that he was going to have an all boys' party but decided that dd1 and another girl in their class were "honourary boys" because they were tomboys !! I think dd1 was quietly impressed!
(she got a christmas present off him too!)
