Baby with colic

Hi there my baby is 10 weeks old and from birth has never settled at all until about 10 at night where he will then sleep through till 4-5am! But once awake he will have 10 minute naps max and just cry whenever he is awake you get about 5 minutes of him being happy and a few smiles and then he just screams again, you can feed him and he will be enjoying the milk is a nightmare to burp and then just scream after his normal feed we have been the doctors multiple times and they have said it's colic we've tried every product on the market for colic and even been prescribed things and it's not worked we've been given gaviscon for silent reflux and it's not working we've changed to dr browns bottles it made a slight change but still didn't work, as a last result we changed his milk from aptimal to hipp organic no significant difference so kept him on the hipp because it was slightly better than before, he will sleep in the day for 10 minutes at a time but it's a fight to get him to go to sleep and then he ether wakes himself up on me or I try to put him down and he is straight awake he just won't go down, I feel like all he does is scream at me then my partner comes home he continues to scream until his feed around 10 then he goes down all night? I go out with him pretty much all day, we bath him every night to sooth his belly, he poos fine eats fine everything seems a healthy baby but I'm sure this amount of screaming can't be healthy and I feel like I'm loosing my mind, I've tried all the winding positions we've brought slings and baby Bjornes he hates them all settles for 10 minutes get uncomfy and stressed and kicks off I really am trying to persist and keep going but I feel like I'm being run into the ground can anyone please help me give me some advise or just tell me that I'm not alone and someone else is going through it too! We've had many older generations say it's teething he is slobbery rash on cheeks and unsettled constantly chewing his hands all the time but im sure this can't be the root of the problem! Please help!

I feel with you, though I have not had the colic problem. They say it goes away around week 12, so if that's the problem he has, you have to survive just 2 more weeks. Maybe you could try some baby massage to the stomach..

Hi, please don't think you are alone with this, my eldest was like this too and like you I was at my wits end! I found that putting her over my shoulder for winding and kind of rubbing her tummy against my shoulder whilst patting/rubbing her back was the best way to bring any wind up, then wrapping her in a snuggle wrap and putting her on her side with a rolled up blanket at her back and a blanket slightly elevating her mattress worked wonders!
