Sorry but waking 3-4 times a night at seven months sounds normal to me, my DD is the same age and that'd be a good night for us - but then I'm breastfeeding I can appreciate it's harder if you need to make up bottles each time. Can you settle her back without a feed? Sometimes my little one just wants quick reassurance and a pat/shush works. The research evidence says there's no link between food and sleep so if your health visitor told you feeding those things would help sleep I find that strange. Definitely not a good plan to make food a battle if she's not keen, which I'm not saying you are, but can see how you could get in a trap of pushing food if you believe it'll help sleep which it won't, it'll just frustrate you both.
