Hiya
So my son is almost 5 and this week has started in reception . He has been doing just afternoons only this week as a settling in period.
He has always been slightly challenging and will at times try to control a lot of situations like food he eats and can be argumentative . He cannot handle being told what to do at times . At nursery I was often told
How he hasn't listened well today etc etc and had little care about adults telling him off etc.
I hoped school would be different but today I got pulled aside and told
How he wouldn't listen to his teacher and ignored many instructions etc and how he ran away when asked to come and tidy up . How do I deal with this ? I feel so sad that his first week at school I am already being told how he's been naughty ? Surely this isn't normal . He whinges so much lately too and will
Generally just try and cause a lot of disruption wherever he is 😖 Any advice ???
