Night time wetting 8yo

My DD is 8 and wears Huggies drynites and she only occasionally has dry nights. She mostly not that bothered but with sleepovers she's becoming a little more aware that she's late with this, though she does have 1 or 2 friends who are similar.
We did have drier nights a few years ago and then did the sleep weeing thing but stopped because my back couldn't take the lifting. I'm now concerned that we just trained her to wee in her sleep and it won't stop unless we intervene. Any advice on where to go with this? I did ask the GP and they can do a hormone test- do I go there first or are there other strategies. Thanks

I'd definitely get the hormone test done. If she's not producing the hormone needed, I don't think any strategies can help.

Still more usual than people think at 8. I would speak to ERIC

Incidentally I had an 8 year old bedwtter who has naturally grown out of it.

Thanks people- will go for hormone test, and thanks for the hope that she will grow out of it.
