My friends baby hasn't started to smile yet at just over 12wks old and they concerned that something is wrong. She appears to developed normally so far. She seems to react to things around her. Her 8wk check was fine and dr said not to worry then but weeks have passed and nothing.
Sometimes it seems like she's trying but nothing happens.
Should they be concerned. What could this be a sign of?
Any advice would be beneficial before she goes off to see GP or HV.
