My d d (7) stole a lollipop from a local cafe.
I saw her looking very shifty in the cafe after I had bought all 3 of my daughters a marshmallow and an apple. She locked eyes with me came out of the cafe and threw the lolly away from herself. I picked it up and insisted she go in cafe give it back and say sorry. She burst into tears and then bare-face lied to me saying she found it under a merry go round.
She then got angry with me for saying I didn't believe her running out of playground down the road making me have to leave my 2 younger children in playground alone. She just went a few metres away and eventually came back when I told her I'd have to call police to collect her if she continued. She remained defiant and angry with me, lashing out ( feebly) at me. What the f* do I do with her? This is not the first time I've caught her stealing.
