Separation

Hi, my almost 14 month old seems to have developed major separation anxiety for around a month now.

Even if I put him down, walk to the other side of the kitchen or room he cries. He won't go to DH if I'm in the room. If I'm there he just seems to want to be picked up.

I work two days per week and leave him with grandparents. He's fine with my mum but cries a bit with FIL when I leave. He's fine if I'm out apparently!

It's just exhausting as I have a 2 year old as well and it's constant crying if I'm in the house with them both as DS2 wants me all the time.

Any tips? When is it likely to get better? I can't remember my eldest doing this!

My ds went through this at that age. Loved nursery then suddenly didn't want to leave me anymore.

No advice sorry but it did pass within weeks he was back to normal.
