My 24 month old is an amazing little boy however I'm starting to become concerned he has always been "fussy" and I know all children are different but he has a very limited vocab he understands most things but he can only say about 10 words including sounds moo, woof woof etc. His favourite word is no, everything you say he will respond with no and uses it as a way of communicating with me. For example if he cant get on the sofa he will say no etc. He is very ocd with items and everything has to be where he wants it(His very tidy). Another thing i find weird is that he will not let anyone including me touch his food, he has been the same since was weaned. If we go out for a meal I can't cut the food up or cool it down without him having a tantrum. These are just a few of his quirks. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else's little ones are the same.

He sounds like a typical 2 year old. They all have little 'obsessions' and I've seen tons of toddlers do things like line up their toys in straight lines and put things in certain places.
They all say no a lot too.
With kindness you should be careful about using the term 'ocd' in relation to the behaviour you have described- OCD is debilitating and will often stop the person who is experience it from leaving the house it's so bad- it's not the kind of behaviour you describe.
Let him carry on- he sounds totally Normal Smile
