Destruction be 4 year old- normal?

My 4 year old has become really destructive recently. I'm trying to figure out if this is normal behaviour for his age (if so I'd like some tips on how to deal with it) or if there's something more to it?

He breaks most of his toys either by taking them apart or throwing them. He picks the sealant along our door frames which now looks hideous, he has ruined my sofa cushions by pulling the threading out and pulling out the stuffing (he chews the thread that he pulls off). Anything sensory he loves eg. Slime or gloop but can't play with it at the table he will chuck it around or mash it in to the carpet. He throws things all day long and screams as soon as something doesn't go how he wanted it to. He makes a huge mess when he eats which sometimes involves spitting his food out on the floor/throwing it and putting his hand in his drink and mixing his food in to it. This has been the last 6 months and gradually getting worse. Before this he was an absolute angel.

Any tips/advice?

No real tips but it sounds like he could have sensory issues - look up sensory processing issues?
