18 month old dd having crazy long naps

Is this OK?

Should I leave her to sleep? I've been waking her once it gets past 2.5 hours ish but today I've left her and it's now been over 3 hours.

Her sleep at night doesn't really seem to be affected, she's never slept through but usually just has one quick wake up and is easy to resettle (sometimes more if teething/ill)

DD1 used to have good 2 hour naps but this is on another level, we've had electricians in banging and drilling underneath her room all afternoon and she hasn't even stirred!

This is how my DS did naps once he dropped his second nap of the day. I wouldn't worry about it. Nice opportunity for a bit of peace and quiet!

Thank you. I've never had a child that slept "too much" before, will try to enjoy it!

It's the damnedest thing about being a parent. When it's not going well, you worry all the time. When it goes well, you're worried it must mean something's going wrong!

I'm 12 weeks pregnant with baby #2, and it's the same way for pregnancy. It's miserable when I've got morning sickness, but when I don't, I'm worried something isn't right!

The first time DS took a 3 hour nap I was freaking myself out a bit, terrified to go into his room and find him dead! His happy "I woke up" laughs coming from the baby monitor felt like the biggest relief.

My 20 month old loves massive naps too. It makes me so happy. It'll be a sad day when she drops her nap.

Count yourself lucky and relish in the fact you have you time!! I would 😂😅

Today my 22m old slept from 1-4 and still went down ok at 7.45, it's bliss!

Yesterday my dd slept 1:40-2pm in the day and then didn't go down till 8:15pm 😭

So jealous of yours
