15 month old hates the bath

Hi just wondering if anyone can offer any advice? Ds always loved the bath up until around 11 months.. now he hates it. Goes crazy when we put him in. Tried using a bath mat and new toys which worked temporarily. Just wondering if it might be an idea to stop bathing him for a week or two and see if that helps.. but he gets filthy!

I had exactly the same with DS1 (and posted on mumsnet for help!) As usual it was just a phase. He went from loving the bath to absolutely screaming!
I gave the bath a miss for a day or two and two then we had a bath together. He wasn't overly happy getting in but once he was in and we were playing and he was washing mummy's he was fine. We did this for a couple of days and gradually got him back into it like that. It seemed to work and it didn't take long before he was back to normal.

I think this is quite a common phase. We got DS's baby bath back out for a while and he was happy to have a wash in there - after a while he was happy to go back in.
