1 year old starting nursery

Hi ladies,

So my little girl is due to start nursery (3 mornings a week) from September, she's done 1 hour there with me there the whole time, then an hour where i left her for 40 mins. When I came back she was upset, I felt horrendous and so so guilty. She settled very quickly and I made sure we stayed there for 10 mins or so and didn't leave straight Away.

She is now SUPER clingy, to the point that she screams when I leave the room, and that's being left with hubby and not a near stranger at nursery.

She has another settling in tomorrow and they suggested 2.5 hours, is this too much of a jump from 40 mins? Does it make a difference??

The only way I stop her screaming at the moment when I leave the room, is picking her up for a cuddle and she stops instantly......

I'm so worried nursery won't be able to settle her.

Any advice would be amazing xx
