How can I get 2.8yo DD1 to stop swearing?

About 2 weeks ago first thing in the morning DD1 ran up to the patio doors and shouted f*ing hell the winds blown my chute (slide) over, I was totally speechless DP and I don't swear around here (apart from the odd shit from me when driving ) I know where she has picked it up from one toddler group we go to a lot of the other mums swear in front of their kids. We have decided that I am stopping taking her there (the swearing is not the only reason).

Since then she has said it about once or twice a day and she knows exactly what context to say it in eg today she said "f*ing hell my prams all wet" and will also say it when talking to her dollies etc. Usually I do not react at all but today I said "DD1 don't say that say oh dear my prams wet" but didn't make a big deal out of it.

It makes me so sad my beautiful 2 yo swearing it's just so wrong, any suggestions???????

I expect if you stop hanging around with those swearing mums and tots, and don't react to what she is saying, she'll soon forget that nasty term (for a few years at least!)

hi, i dunno if this would help but all kids do it, like u said it happens when they start mixing with other kids who unfortuantley have parents that swear round them all the time, what i am planning on doing when its my turn to deal with it is this...if she says fcking hel u could maybe say "oh yes ducky fell" not a good example i know lol, but something that sort of rhymes, then u could laugh about it and hope she picks it up and substututes the naughty word for new words lol, im gonna shut up now coz im rambling lol, hope u get the gist of what i mean lol.
