Will she EVER get these molars?

DD 23 months has been getting her second molars FOREVER. She has all her other teeth and none of it's been pleasant, canines were particularly grim, but this is something else. It's been on and off, obviously but has been going on for months now.

The last week has been particularly hellish especially at night. She's been waking lots, really upset, wants lots of boob and is hard to settle. We've been doing all the usual- Anbesol, Ashton and Parsons, Nurofen/Calpol etc but it feels like it's been going on forever and there is no sign of them whatsoever. I can't even feel them under her gums.

Will they ever come through?!

I feel you can't feel them under the gums it's very unlikely to be bothering her,
Why do you think it is ?

She's definitely teething. She's chewing everything, dribbling. Just because I can't see or feel a tooth yet does not mean they're not bothering her so I'm a bit confused by that comment.

Generally teeth bother them when cutting the gums, if there no where near I think it's unlikely to be causing lots of pain

Is it definitely teeth? I thought DS was teething and he had an ear infection. May be worth checking her out.

Definitely teething.

My DS is 30months and is just the same, been teething with last four molars for months, crying, chewing, loads of dribble and nothing poking through as yet! I can see white under the gum but we seem like forever away from teething ending. These teeth do take a long time! Hang on in there, just to reassure you we are in just the same boat. I read that they usually cut by 33/34 months!x

After a particularly rubbish night last night the corner of one is just poking through! Hope yours appear soon Pam!
