Hello, I'm new so please be kind. My daughter is 16 months (14 corrected) She has had a few minor problems since birth namely a dislocated hip and delayed cord delegation. She didn't sit up to 11 months, can't pull herself up, crawl or walk. She tries though. My main concern is she doesn't babble (never has bar the odd ba ba) doesn't respond to her name nor can she say any words or follow any directions apart from wave bye bye and clap hands. She was diagnosed yesterday with two glue ears. We are undergoing genetic testing however I'm hopeful the glue ear is the case of no babbling and affecting her walking and crawling abilities other than a genetic issue. I previously thought she had global developmental delay until I got the glue ear results. She's super sociable, great eye contact and shares attention. Has anyone any experience of this?
