Hip Dysplasia

Just had my little ones hip scan and it appears she will need to be put in a harness for 8-12 weeks. Waiting to be referred to sick kids hospital but given the amount her hip is out radiographer seems fairly sure a harness would be the course of action. Baby was breech and born by c section.

I am breaking my heart about this pretty much haven't stopped crying since the scan just don't want my little baby to be in any distress and I know will be hard for me to cope with.

How are you getting on? My daughter had the same thing and I was in bits too but it really was worse for us than for her. It worked really well and now she is fine. It's much better that they caught it early.

I thought I would add a little of odd support to you. There are lots of Facebook groups for mums in your situation. Also, the fact they have caught it early is good and hopefully the harness sorts it out for you.
I was born with hip Dysplasia and you will get through. I had issues but in the end it all sorted out mostly for the long run.
