I don't know what to do!

Hi, I don't know if this is the appropriate forum to ask this question but I'm in dire need of some advice.

My 4-year-old niece and 8-year-old nephew (not siblings) are inseparable, love playing together and get on well. They often get a chance to play together 4 maybe 5 times a week as their gran often babysits them and their siblings.

I have good reason to be concerned about their friendship (I won't state the reason on here). Therefore, I need to think of ways to break down this friendship. I'm not a cruel or controlling Aunt I'm just concerned about my niece's safety and well-being so I want to intervene before anything happens.

Can anyone recommend how I can perhaps get the two to play with one another less?

Is the 8 year old an angry ginger kid?

You haven't got a hope of stopping two young children from playing together if they both enjoy it and their parents are supporting it.

If you have concerns about the younger one's safety, you need to raise those concerns with her parents or social care if that isn't possible.
