Coping with big changes - 2 year old

Our nanny has to leave in a few weeks and we just found out. My LO is 2 and about to start school in 3 months. Now we'll have to put him into new childcare for 3 months. He'll be devastated to have to leave his best playmate. Plus I'm expecting number 2 in a few months too - that's a lot of change for a little guy... what can I do to help him cope? Do two year old take big changes well?

Our daughter was 2 when our son arrived, she took to it pretty well, though definitely takes time for her to adjust to not always being the centre of attention, still does and she still gets jealous from time to time, but hopefully you will find that your 2 year old will be pretty adaptable to change, good luck!!
