Hello guys,

my DD is 20 and 1/2 mo. She was a late walker but she's been walking for 2 months now.

she's still not a pro and I'm really concerned now.
So here are 2 recent videos of her walking:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=CShApct2h6w
www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQyjgwMuI3Q

would you please give me your opinion about her gait ? Do you thing it's normal to be walking like this after 2 months ?
Is there anything that seems abnormal to you in the way she walks ?

Thanks

Looks fine for a new walker. All of mine walked like that for a bit.

Aw she's just gorgeous op (sorry missing the point!! Grin) no the gait looks fine. Steady, changes direction easily and can pick items up off the floor. Very slightly wide legged perhaps but that's only because I'm looking for things. What is it the worries you?

Thanks, she's adorable for sure 😊
To me her gait is wide and stiffed legged, plus she's still not very steady. I'm wondering if it's normal to be this wobbly after 2 months.
I see 14 mo walking like you or me, climbing on things etc.

I think its a rare 14 mo old that walks with the assurance of an adult. Your dd walks like someone who is just getting the hang of it, which she is.

Thank you guys for your answers. It was comforting until someone told me on another board that my DD is displaying an ataxic gait, that it could be due to cerebral palsy or something else Confused
