Pooing in knickers - return to pull ups?

Hi All,
I hope you might have some advice for me. My youngest daughter (of 3) is just over 2 and a half. We've been potty training or a couple of months (sort of at her intiation) and she's pretty much bang on with wees. Poos on the other hand are a disaster and it's only if I catch the glazed look on her face and whip the potty in front of her do we catch one; most of the time it's in her knickers.
I am getting increasingly annoyed - I feel she OUGHT to be able to do it, her older sisters did it fine, and I'm binning a lot of pants. She is about to move rooms at nursery and clearly has some anxiety about that, and her behaviour generally is not good: incredibly strong willed and very defiant. I am quite exhausted by her in this current phase.
ANYWAY, I am wondering whether to put her back in pull ups for a few months and just accept the poos, and try and deal with it when she's going through less anxiety and is perhaps coming out of the 'terrible twos' rather than being smack bang in the middle of them. But will a return to pull ups confuse her, and just ingrain the behaviour?
Really at a loss, so grateful for any advice, even if it's what not to do!

Thanks

My daughter was great at doing wees but was terrified of pooing in her potty/ toilet. She had accidents for weeks and like that we had to just try catch her in the act and even still she would go mad and ended up a bit constipated. She started to get distressed and so I put pull ups on just for poo time until she was comfortable going again. We tried again aftrr that and made toilet time as fun as we could! I promised her 5 m&ms for a poo in the potty. Once I had an idea she was due to go I'd sit her down and sing with her or stick her in front of the tv and once she got 2 poos she was fine and hasn't had an accident since.
Try giving her some pure apple juice so she'll go soon and sit with her and play with her until she gets one in the bowl. Once she gets a few she'll be grand.
