Teething Bracelet / Anklets?

I've been looking at some reviews of these teething anklets/bracelets and I understand how they work etc but there are so many different types can anyone recommend a type and explain if the different types do different things or is it all just for the show and to have a variety of colour?

How do you understand they work? Save your cash and stock up on calpol and anbesol. The different types don't do anything!

I know they release something that acts as a natural pain reliever? I'm only saying what I've researched and what sites / reviews say but I'm still unsure!

Honestly op, invest in calpol and anbesol!

We bought one and put it on before DS teething got bad. Then one day, right as his teeth were at the point of breaking through, he lost it. He's cut another 4 teeth since then and it hasn't really bothered him much. In my experience, they don't work :)
