Just wanted a bit of advice really. Our ds has just turned 7 and his attitude is awful at the moment. If he doesn't get his own way he's having major strops, stomping off, shouting, pulling his face and saying unkind things to us or his younger sister.
His teacher pulled me to one side last week to say he's playing up a bit at school, distracting others on his table, doing silly things in a group like throwing balls over the fence etc.
We're trying to keep calm when he does this and point out he's talking in an unkind way, sending him to his room to think about his behaviour if it is particularly stroppy and praising him when he is good but I just wondered if anyone had any advice. He's spoilt quite a few family occasions recently and he's quite hard to be around and enjoy spending time with.
