Sex talk

I have one dd aged 9 and one aged 7. Lately they have been hanging around with a girl aged 11 at the park who has been talking to them about sex acts and rape. Should I speak to her mother who is a nurse about this. My dds know about sex, but i feel this talk is inappropriate for their age. AIBU?

I think kids talking about sex is probably normal but rape sounds a bit too far. Maybe find out from your kids what they've been talking about. If it's really inappropriate, then speak to their mother, rather than bringing the matter to their mother straightaway?

Would get as much info as possible without worrying your DD's...I wouldn't speak to other girls mum as these things always back fire and she will feel accused.
Would also discretely distance my Dad's from her
