Hi,
Sorry if this has been covered before....
5 week old is straining so hard during the night....not constipated as has loose poop, but straining so hard can make himself throw up the milk he has had. Goes red in the face....could it be trapped wind? Doesn't struggle to burp? We use gripe water occasionally but this seems to make him sick also!!
Any advice would be good Smile

Also at night feeds does a lot of gurgling like is going to choke....doesn't seem to bother baby but worry he could choke in his sleep?

Sleeps like a dream in the day, no fussing at all!! Will mention it to HV at next app. Tia

Can't really remember but I don't think it's usual to lose a feed when pooing. When are yiu next due to see your HV next user?
