Early teething?

Hi,

My LO has just turned 3 months and I'm sure she's showing signs of teething already! She's drooling quite a lot and some mornings I notice redness on the cheeks, she's also started chewing toys but I'm bit sure if this is to do with her getting older rather than teething?

Anyone had any experiences with early teething?

It could just be that she's learnt to put toys in her mouth and is exploring a new sense.

Can you feel any teeth coming through?

Yes my DS had his first tooth at 11 weeks. Then they steadily continued to break through, and he had all teeth before he was one! I found that he dealt with teething at the earlier age much better than DD who got hers later.

He's now 4 1/2 and just lost his first baby tooth, the first one that he got at 11 weeks. Seemed early to me but reassured by the dentist that it's perfectly normal when they get them early to lose them early.

My DS started teething at three months and had his bottom two by four months!! Now five months and he's got the top two coming through 😅 sounds like teething to me, although it did coincide with him wanting to put toys in his mouth!

DD got her bottom two teeth at ten weeks. Used to freak out the old ladies who went in her pram for a look Grin

I remember she got the chin rash. But mostly I could feel them when she was feeding.
