Happy boy, really whinge at home!!

I have a generally happy, bright 2 year 3 month old, he goes to nursery 1 day and 2 am, I work 2 days. He's fantastic at nursery and generally good for his grandparents and dad but for me he is very vocal and cries to get what he wants (I don't give in) and generally whinges a LOT!!!! Any advice or similar experiences please. Xx

No advice, but guessing it must be an age thing, my little one is 2 in a couple of weeks and spends his life whining at me, drives me nuts, especially because he has decent speech so can tell me what he wants, but no, he prefers to whinge and whine and make me guess! Apparently he's as good as gold when I'm at work though and he's with Dad or Nana! Xx
