fend him off with your hairdryer

Point it at him and he will soon go away

he needs to be carried in the last 5 mins of grooming because he knows that if he waits until your are fully ready, he will only mark your clean pale trousers with his dirty shoes when you then pick him up.

It's a babies natural consideration for his/her mother.

Coddy - a long shot but is there any chance that he doesn't like the sound of your hairdryer?

When my DD was a baby she would start screaming if I put the hairdryer on or if we were in loos out shopping and the handdryer came on. She absolutely hated the sound and would be almost hysterical.

Might be worth thinking about!!
