My daughter turned 4 in March. Shes always been a little hyper but now she is going off the chart. It's not all the time. A lot of the times she is sweet and fun but when she gets hyper she will listen to no one especially not me. She totally blanks me. Today she was playing out in the garden with her friend and I told her it was time to come in for tea. I always give her warning auch as saying 15 minutes left then 5 minutes left. She blanked me. I said again that she had to come in she said no. I ended up asking/telling her about 10 times and eventually had to physically drag her screaming into the house and keep her from the door so I could close it. Can anyone give any tips and how to calm her? I know she's only 4 but she goes nuts. I don't think I'm soft on her either. She gets disciplined and she had play time taken off her because of this but I'm finding it really hard. She has started hitting again and this morning at nursery she spat at another child. What can i do?
