As the title says. My DS is nearly 9 months and growing bored of his current toy selection (mostly soft sensory toys and rattles). Looking for recommendations for some good toys to keep him occupied and help his development.

Thanks MN

I bought by DS a baby keyboard which he loves, think it was about £15 from Mothercare. It lights up and makes noises.

I've also recently bought him another musical toy where buttons are different musical instruments except a larger button that plays different songs.it lights up when in use

Basically my DS loves lighting up noisy things!

Duplo - bricks, animals, figures, vehicles - including Number Train.

Push along block cart
Shape sorter
Stacking cups
Tomy "Squeaking eggs"
One of the toys you put a ball in and it pops out in a different place. We had a Fisher Price one.
A wooden cube with a bead frame on the top. Toys R Us have one. Different activity things on sides to play with when sitting. If you put books in it they can use it to pull up on.
A fabric tunnel - that they can crawl through
Musical toys
Board or fabric books
