I've got one of those special baby sheepskins.. it's not that dirty but the MIL is coming to stay and don't want her to know the truth about our grime...

Just don't want to mess it up, but it could do with a wash... any tips appreciated...

I machine wash ours at 30° but I use special lambskin washing liquid that was supplied with the lambskin. Can you contact your supplier to see if they sell something similar?

I just wash mine with normal washing liquid on a wool wash in the machine at 30. The leather dries slightly stiffer, but it softens up again once it's in use.

In a baby sheepdip???

If you have special wool washing liquid I'm sure that will be fine. I use Persil Wool& Silk on mine.

i just used a wool wash and some soap nuts. make sure you don't dry it near heat as it'll go rock hard!
