My 8 year old dd is driving me crazy. She has a 7 and 4 year old sibling both have Sen so life is a bit pressured. But she's rude, doesn't listen, silly, immature (she weed up the alley next to our house the other day), is mean to her siblings and generally behaves like a child much younger than her age. Is this normal? Am I being too harsh? My mum is thoroughly embarrassed and frequently tells her off when she goes over for tea on her own. I split my time as best I can but dh works long hours as he's the only one able to work and my dd doesn't appreciate it when we go out.
