Has Horrid Henry ever said this??

Long story short my DS who is 7 got into a whole load of trouble this afternoon and I was called in to see the Head. He said 'I'm going to kill you' to a fellow pupil.

I have asked him why he said this and his excuse was Horrid Henry said it to Peter turned into a robot and stamped on him. I have said that it is still unexceptable in any case. But.....

I know HH has anger problems and he isn't the nicest worded character. But anyone out there who knows or is sure that Horrid Henry would say that. Or has seen this episode. Or has my DS made a fantasy story up to keep out of trouble....

So the school initially thought my DS got this idea from else where, maybe home - so they wanted to investigate hence child protection procedure was mentioned.

But he didn't learn this phrase from home therefore no concern on that side BUT school exposed him to this voilent language that caused concern in the first place. Where does that leave me?

Can I follow the child protection procedure and question if my child is being protected at school sufficiently?

Can I not investigate? Why is there one rule for the parents and another for the teachers. The concern is still there....

Are you saying he doesn't watch HH at home, but at school?

He watches HH at school and at home. I suggested banning HH to the Head to which she replied 'I cannot isolate from things and control what he watches'

In regards to the phrase which caused the concern in the first place, DS said he heard it whilst watching a episode of HH at school before lunch.

Doesn't give me much room to manoeuvre. Bannung it wasn't an ootion, school firmly believe HH is created for kids.

Double standards IMO
