Weaning tips anyone?

Dd is 6 months old so I was going to start weaning.

I have a 2 year old ds but I have completely forgot what I'm doing!

Ds had multiple allergies so his diet was restricted.

Can anyone give me any weaning tips?

What things can they not have?

Honey and whole nuts. Everything else is fair game.

At 6 months you don't need to puree or even mush if you don't want to. Just give them what your older DC is having, either as ginger food or mushed a bit of you prefer. Voilà.

*finger food.

Thank you!

I didn't know if they were allowed dairy or anything like that? Milk was one of ds allergies so I didn't know if that was all ok normally.

Mine had pretty much whatever we were having from 6 months. I didn't really want to get into pureeing everything so just mushed stuff up a bit.

milk should be fine in food, but just keep an eye on them when introducing new things.

www.babyledfeeding.com/ this woman is a genius! I followed her Facebook and have her book and we all eat everything from it now
