Tummy Time

Hi everyone

My baby has turned 7 months today and has always absolutely hated tummy time. He's so close to crawling but whenever I put him on his tummy he screams blue murder.
Mainly out of frustration as he wants to go places but can't.

Does anyone have the same issues and has any tips? It would be very much appreciated

My DS hated tummy time too. Haven't got any solutions sorry as he didn't crawl till he was 11 months. What he did like wa standing up and was confident at walking around on the sofa at 9 months.

All of mine have hated tummy time. However they were always in a sling, which counts as tummy time. The first 2 never crawled but walked by 9 or 10 months. Third has been crawling for a while and now cruising competently at 9 months. So reckon they've been ok with zero tummy time

I've got the same thing with my 3month old. He hates tummy time but if you hold him up he loves taking mini steps as if trying to walk. My 3 yr old was the opposite and happily crawled around on his tummy.
