7 month old teething early

Hi all.

My 7 mo has got his two bottom teeth through completely... And has another 4 coming through at the top! 😮 Surely this is too early? I read that the front top ones come and then the ones next to them about a month after! I'm considering seeing a dentist for reassurance... Anyone else had a similar experience?

Thanks!

I don't think it's too early. My DD had her first, bottom 2, at 15 weeks then all 4 bottom and top by 6 months. First molars came through at 9 months. She is now 11 months and is 2 away from a full set!

My eight month old has eight - four top and four bottom - plus top canines very close to cutting through. Early but not abnormal. It's genetic. I think it's probably a sign of being very clever.Grin

Not early at all my 8 month has 4 teeth with two more on the way, my eldest got his first at 6 months and had a full set by his first birthday, just means you get them out of the way early which is good.

I meant not too early Smile

Early teether here too. Started at 3 months and it was relentless, DS had all bar the last molars by 12 months. It was relentless but then we had a lovely 6 month break while my NCT group were still in the thick of it. He's now got 1 of the 4 final molars at 18 months which they normally get age 2-3.
I agree with a PP def a sign of intelligence Wink

Not early, dd is 3 months and she has just cut her first bottom tooth - and don't we know about it! Sleep? What sleep? Confused

HandbagFan · 21/04/2017 20:34

Nope, too early.

HandbagFan · 21/04/2017 20:34

^ Should be not too early...

Babies are sometimes born with teeth

PunjanaTea · 21/04/2017 20:37

Both my DC had teeth at 4 months. There really doesn't seem to be any standard when it comes to teeth.

There's a huge range of normal here. DD cut her first 2 bang on 5 months.

Bottom 2 were though by 4 months here and the rest soon followed. Had most of the 20 by the time she walked (9 months).
