Curious about their bodies??

My little girl who's 4 and the little boy next door who's 6 were playing in the garden in the play house. I was checking on them every 5 mins or so when I saw my little girl with her pants half down and when I said something they both ran out looking like they'd done something wrong although i didn't see much and they'd only been in there 5 minutes. Is this just a natural curiosity? I'll have a talk with her later.

Ask her what they were doing!

I did she said he asked to see her bum. Explained to her that she shouldn't be doing that etc and if he ask again to say no. Be keeping my extra eye on them from now on though. Just wondered if this is pretty normal for kids that young.

I had a similar incident with dd4 and her friend who admitted to looking at each other's 'noo nooos' the other day.
Yes they become curious at this age I think, but we had a long chat about what she or anyone else can touch in terms of private parts.
