Hypotonia

Hi

My DD (17mths) has recently seen a general paediatrician who believes she has hypotonia - she's not pulling up but is walking quite well if she holds my hand (she can't walk alone). Her joints are very flexible. Other than delayed gross motor skills she has no other delays.

The paediatrician said to make another appointment in 3 months time as she was quite confident she would get there with the walking, just a bit later than normal.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a consultant in london or Berks/Surrey that specialises in hypotonia (I know that's difficult as there could be so many underlying reasons for it!)? We are seeing the paediatrician privately so looking for someone with a private clinic.

Thanks

I have no experience of hypotonia but I have ehlers danlos syndrome type 3 which means I'm very flexiable and have loose joints?
