Title says it all really. I'd be grateful for your comments.

No. Dd didn't seem to roll at all - the only time I knew she could was when I found her asleep face down in her cot one night. Even now, if I put her on her back she makes rolling over look like the most un-elegant thing in the world. I'm sure your dd is just fine - why not mention it to your hv next time you see her if you're still worried.

no, dont worry at all.
ds2 is rolling both ways, he started at 5 months but ds1 didnt roll till about 8 months, he sat up first and didnt bother crawling either - every child is different. x

My friend's ds is 10 months and still doesn't roll but happily bum shuffles and is starting to pull himself up in his cot. He was never keen on being on his tummy, was your dd the same?

princessmel · 11/03/2007 14:30

No,

Although I did a bit .

ds rolled at 4 months and crawled at 6 but dd didn't really roll atall. Just once or twice as a fluke!

She crawled at 9 months and walked at 1yr.

Thanks you all for your comments. I feel reassured and less worried now.

Detoxd - my hv is pretty useless.

Shoppingb, yes my DD has never really liked tummy time.

uniboy rolled once at 4m then didn't roll agin till he was 10m or so and then only rarely if he was on his back which he disliked being while awake, but he prefered to make a fuss till an adult turned him over. Even now he seldom rolls, 12m and a very fast crawler cruiser & bum shuffler.
