17 month old only wanting daddy..

I know babies go through phases, but this phase has been going on a while and this morning DD was screaming when dh passed her to me.

Any tips on convincing her that I'm great? Also, any tips on not letting it upset me?

No tips except to say that I get the same thing sometimes, so know how you feel. He is a SAHD which is why, but it does break my heart.

I'm looking at it this way: it won't last long, so he can have her whilst she's screaming and I'll put my feet up until the next phase!!

Seriously though, don't let her see it has upset you, and just show her that she has all your attention and you are fun. It'll be another phase before we know it :)

No advice but my 14 month old is the same, whines and reaches for him constantly, cries when he leaves the room etc, happily waves me off to work 😠
