Aspergers help

My friends child has aspergers & he seems to be very emotionally immature - equal to a 6 year old (he's 11)

Wonder if anyone has any advice on how to help him with this ?

Has your friend asked you to post on her behalf?

Is it something that needs help?

He's starting to go through puberty & still undresses regardless of whose there. He won't wash on his own & still baths with younger siblings.

You'd be best getting your friend to post herself because people are going to ask all kinds of things you probably won't know the answer to

Aspies as a general rule have an emotional age roughly 2/3 of their biological age, so at 11 it's quite normal for him to have the emotional responses of a 6 or 7 yo.
There's not a lot you can do to help him catch up, I'm afraid, but I've managed to teach my Aspie the appropriate response to certain situations which could have been problematic on reaching adulthood
