....can watch the most amazingly complicated cartoons on CBBC and follow what is going on (beyond me tbh) but still cannot understand simple instructions like, flush the toilet,please?

DD (5) ignored similar instruction the other morning and forgot to put the seat down. No problem usually but I dashed outside to put the bins out for the binmen and came back to find DS (14months) up to his arms in everything that you could imagine!! AAArghh!!

Sobernow, how annoying is that loo roll thing!? I seem to be the only one cpable of doing that too.

Dh, who is in many respects a saint, honestly seems to believe that there is a toilet roll pixie that lives in the house! I once waited to see when he would remore the empty tube. I cracked at 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I once held dh's head at loo level and pointed out that the urine stains on the outside of the toilet were anatomicaly impossible for me to have done! And this was before kids, so he was the guilty party!

I think we have the same husband.
