Testosterone problems

In the same way that some adults have higher sex drives/testosterone levels, is it the same with little boys? My 5 year old has always had a tendency to lash out but he can also be very caring and loving. I can tell when we're going to be hitting some bumps in the road because he starts humping the furniture. Then within a couple of days he'll be in trouble for fighting at school! He's been this way since he was 2. Does anyone else have any experience of this? Could I put bromide in his squash!! Only joking but it does worry me that he's experiencing surges in hormones that are way above what other boys deal with.

Are you sure it's hormones and not something else? Have you spoken to him about the humping?
