He's done it twice today, the second time so badly, DS2 had deep teeth marks in his hand. (He always bites DS2s hand)

He does it quite often, but all other times he's really good with him.

What can I do to stop him?

Don't give him the opportunity - in the short term. For longer term improvement in relationship, give ds1 some one-to-one attention every day while baby is asleep or being cared for by some one else.

We do do that though. DS1 gets plenty of attention, I always make sure I spend some one on one time with him every day.

It's just the biting. He is genreally v good with DS2 - he gives him lots of kisses and cuddles

Do you punish ds1 when he bites? If so, how?
