Can somebody help.My son is now 19mths old.He goes to bed at 7.30 and goes to sleep but then wakes between 1 and 4 times a night. Some times i give him a bottle to get him back to sleep.(i don't take him out the cot)I know the best thing is not to give him a bottle but when you need some sleep it's hard not to.The one night i wouldn't give him a bottle he cried from 1.30 till 5.30.HELP

Oh gosh this is a tough one - I cant bare to hear my daughter cry but in my limited experience its best to let them cry themselves back to sleep and never give in. I did this when my daughter was about one and after a few days she soon got the message. If your son is genuinly thirsty maybe just leave a bottle of water next to him? They learnt really quickly - about 2/3 nights does it usually. But it does mean a few days of broken routine and grumpy child while he learns he wont get his bottle.
I hope this helps a little x
