My daughter is 14 months and has 16 teeth, I just don't know how many she's meant to have and if she has too many now will it cause problems for her.

It's fine.

It's early, but not weirdly early or worryingly early or early enough to cause any problems.

In total they should end up with 20 milk teeth. If she has more than that then that could be a cause for concern.

If you're worried just ask the dentist to have a look next time you go.

My DD has the opposite problem she is 1 with no teeth at! Shame we couldn't have half each :-)

That's also fine! But worth a trip to the dentist if she doesn't have any by 18 months.

Here is a rough guide to what comes through and when.
