4 year old, still has pot belly?!

DD is 4 and a bit, she is not overweight, and when she's standing still you can still see her ribs.
She does, however, still have a belly that starts flat in the morning and grows with the food she eats over the course of the day - by the end of the day it's quite sticky out! She eats normal amounts of food - a healthy eater but not an over-eater, treats at the weekend only.

Is this still normal? I don't notice it in other children her age, only those younger, where you would still expect to see a toddler belly.

Normal. They're all different

My son is 5½ and his pot belly has only just gone. It's perfectly normal, as Troll says.

really?! sometimes it look HUGE by the end of the day, me and DH obviously think it's very cute but I don't want to be dismissing an issue, even though I know she isn't overweight.
Thanks for the reassurance though it's good to hear it is normal.
