My daughter has always got the hiccups when laughing. She's 3 now and if she laugh she immediately hiccups and sometimes is sick. She's not laughing for ages and making herself sick it's literally just as she starts laughing. Is this normal?

I would visit your GP who will probably refer you as it's not something I have heard of
But they will be able to investigate and sort.

I used to do this, I also used to sometimes find it hard to stop laughing and would almost be crying with the pain of laughing. It was something I grew out of and now I only occasionally snort Blush

My DD is five and laughing often causes hiccups. She was really hiccupy in utero and as a baby. She's just a hiccupy kind of child Smile
