Sleepy day after 12 week vaccination; normal?

Hi all,

DS had his 12 week vaccination yesterday around 10:20 and seemed just normal yesterday. Today though, he's a lot sleepier than usual, he had a 7 hour stretch in the night which is normal for him (can be 8 or 10 hours). He had a bottle and then went back to sleep, woke for a bottle but only to 4.5 of his usual 7 ounces and then went straight back to sleep. I've just woken him up ready for his next bottle but just wondered if anyone else's LO was the same after their 12 week injections

Hi my daughter was the same for a few days, she would sleep all night and all day and I was super worried, now I look back I should of taken advantage.. she's now 19 months and driving me crazy lol! x

Yes i think some babies can be sleepier than normal as long as she is awake awake when she is awake and feeding fine I wouldn't worry obviously if you are worried give the health centre a call

Thank you for the responses, I think he's slept it off now, he's a lot more awake awake!

I just worried slightly because when I googled it (very smart thing to do ) the NHS said it could make them irritable and he was the opposite, totally chill! Not anymore but I can't complain now can I?!
